Hong Kong�s Domestic Health Accounts System was first developed as a turn-key consultancy project led by IHP Fellows, Dr Rannan-Eliya and Dr Somanathan, during 1998-1999. Since its original introduction, the DHA system has been entrusted to the Department of Community Medicine of Hong Kong University. Dr. Rannan-Eliya continued to provide advise to Hong Kong experts in the second and now third round of the HKDHA estimation. His main role was providing advice on technical design issues, and compatibility with international standards. |
