A collaborative project to improve screening methods for eye disease in people with diabetes (diabetic retinopathy), using AI-assisted handheld retinal cameras.
This is a collaboration between the Sri Lanka Health and Ageing Study (SLHAS) consortium and University College London, with support from Velux Stiftung.
Data collection was completed for the DIAGNOSE-Diabetic Retinopathy Pilot Study at the Eye Care Center, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. Take a look as we follow a participant through a clinic.
A workshop was held in November 2023 to provide an in-depth training to the DIAGNOSE-Diabetic Retinopathy project investigators and staff on the use of the Remidio FOP NM-10 AI-assisted digital retinal camera.
