    Sri Lanka Nutrion Assessment, 2012

     
    Project ID: NS-001 Status: Completed

    IHP on behalf of the National Nutrition Council headed by the President of Sri Lanka and UNICEF, is curently carrying out an analysis of the available data to present the real picture of nutrition in the country. In Adddition, IHP will also take stock of current nutrition interventions, document what works and does not work in the form of a litertrature review, and also conduct a stockholder analysis taking into account the views and opinions of the main stakeholders in the area of nutrition policy in the coutry.
    The purpose of this multidimensional assignment is to provide a quality analytical inputs for the Nutrition Plan of Action 2012-16 to National Nutrition Council. This will enable the preparation of appropriate and evidenced based nutrition policy, planning and programing in the country to address the issue of malnutrition.
