The PEN Package developed by WHO is a key tool for enhancing national responses to the NCD epidemic, particularly in Pacific Island countries. It plays an important role in helping to optimize the screening and treatment of key NCDs, especially cardiovascular disease. For this assignment, Dr R.P. Rannan-Eliya and Dr Nilmini Wijemanne are reviewing current evidence and issues relating to adoption and implementation of PEN Package to brief DFAT and other agencies.
