Savindi holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine. She previously worked as demonstrator at the department of Pathology of the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine.
Savindi joined IHP in August 2018 as a field Investigator Medical to work in the Sri Lanka Health and Aging survey (SLHAS).
