Nilakshi holds a Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science from the University of Colombo, and a Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology at PATHE Academy. She previously worked as Medical Laboratory Technician at Asiri Hospitals Pvt Ltd.
Nilakshi joined IHP in August 2018 as a field Investigator and is working on the Sri Lanka Health and Aging survey (SLHAS).
