WHO Global Fund Evaluation Health Expenditure Workshop |
|
Project ID: TR-005 |
Status: Completed |
As part of the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria's Five-Year Evaluation, WHO is coordinating the assessment of health expenditure flows in target countries. This includes a component examining expenditures by disease, with a specific focus on the Global Fund's three diseases of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria.
For this initial training workshop, Dr Rannan-Eliya, IHP Fellow, participated as a resource person, training participants from Haiti, Malawi, Zambia, Cambodia and Burkina Faso in the methods to be used to estimate disease specific accounts. The training drew upon the experience IHP gained in conducting the first pilot disease accounts study for WHO. |
