Changes in financing and barriers to accessing maternal care in Bangladesh |
|
Project ID: MM-007 |
Status: Completed |
Bangladesh made major gains in improving maternal and child health during 1990-2015, faster than most developing countries. This study builds on earlier work sponsored by the Countdown Initiative to explain how Bangladesh achieved this in terms of health interventions, to look more closely at the role of financing policy and changes in health financing in contributing to these achievements. The study is a collaborative effort of IHP and Bangladeshi researchers based at ICDDR,B, MOHFW Health Economics Unit and Data International. |
