Review of the situation of equity in access to maternal and child health care in the Asia-Pacific region |
|
Project ID: MM-002 |
Status: Completed |
As part of efforts to reduce inequalities in access to maternal and child health care in Viet Nam, the Vietnamese health ministry and Unicef organised a consultation with national and regional experts to develop national strategy options. IHP supported this workshop by preparing a review of regional experience in reducing MNCH inequalities, and by Dr Rannan-Eliya's participation as a resource person in the meeting. Subsequent to the meeting held in Halang Bay, Vietnam, recommendations were made to senior Vietnam leaders on how MNCH inequalities could be addressed. |
