Efforts to compile health accounts have been going on in The Islamic Republic of Iran for many years. As part of a World Bank-funded health reform project, Dr. Rannan-Eliya, IHP Fellow, visited Tehran to assess the status of health accounts in the country, and to review problems and make recommendations for their improvement and future sustainability. During his visit, he visited with various national technical agencies, and presented his results to a number of meetings of key policy-makers and stakeholders. |
