This two year grant commencing in June 2008 by IDRC Canada is investing in sustaining and extending the work of the IHP-led Equitap network, which looks at equity in health systems in the Asia-Pacific region. Specific activities that the IDRC grant is funding include (i) support for building capacity for health systems equity research at new Equitap partners National Institute for Public Health Laos and Public Health Foundation of India, (ii) new methodological research by Equitap partners to improve current methods for assessing catastrophic impact analysis, (iii) expanding Equitap's knowledge communication activities. |
