    Neluka Silva

    Publication Editor

    Dr. Neluka Silva is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Health Policy (IHP). She joined the organization in December 2005. She is a Senior Lecturer in English at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has a PhD in Post-colonial Literature from the University of Leeds, and an MSc in Applied Linguistics from the University of Oxford.

    She has been involved in editing and presentations at IHP. She has over 15 years of experience as an editor and has edited several academic books and journal articles. She serves on the Editorial Board of Moving Worlds: A Journal of Post colonial Literature published by the University of Leeds, UK. She has also been on the Committee of the Social Sciences, National Science Foundation, Sri Lanka, and is on the Editorial Board of the University of Colombo Review.

    Her research includes Cultural Production in South Asia, Gender and Peace issues in Sri Lanka and has worked as a consultant for a range of organizations including UNDP, Centre for Poverty Analysis, Oxfam, Sri Lanka and Unicef.

    At IHP she works on projects with the Ministry of Health, Social Security, Socio-economics and Health issues.
